1. Maruti Suzuki WagonR
   

   

   The Maruti Suzuki WagonR has proven to be India’s most loved car once again. The hatchback leads the way with 16,814 units sold in the month of May 22, with YoY growth as high as 706.04 %, and a massive 7.54% of market share.

2. Tata Nexon
   

   

   The Tata Nexon has emerged as India’s best-selling compact SUV in India. The vehicle sold 14,614 units grabbing 6.56% of the market with 126.96% in YoY growth.

3. Maruti Suzuki Swift
   

   

   As usual, Swift has once again hit the top 3 with 14,133 units sold, grabbing 6.34% of the market and YoY growth of 101.76%.

4. Maruti Suzuki Baleno
   
   

   Another capable hatchback from Maruti, the Baleno scored the number 4 position, with as many as 13,970 units achieving a market share of 6.27% and a YoY growth of 190.86%.

5. Maruti Suzuki Alto
   

   

   One of India’s most loved entry-level hatchbacks in India, the Alto shines again at number 5 with 12,933 units sold in May 22 with YoY growth of a massive 301.65% and a market share of 5.80%.

6. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
   

   

   With 12,226 units sold, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga emerged as one of the top-selling MUV with YoY growth of 353.82% and a market share of proud 5.48%.

7. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
   

   

   The first compact sedan on the list, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire bagged the 7^th spot with 11,603 units sold, grabbing a market share of 5.21% and a YoY of 99.40 %.

8. Hyundai Creta
   

   

   The Hyundai Creta has once again featured in the top time, this time however at the 8^th spot, 10,973 units sold with a market share of 4.92% and a YoY growth of 45.78%.

9. Maruti Suzuki EECO
   

   

   The people’s and goods mover of India, the Maruti Suzuki EECO too reported excellent sales, standing at number 9, with 10,482 units sold translating to 4.70 % of market share and the highest YoY growth of 856.39% amongst the best-selling 25 cars in May 2022.

10. Maruti Suzuki Brezza
    

    

    The last spot too was grabbed by Maruti Suzuki with the Brezza selling 10,312 units reporting YoY growth of 289.43% and a market share of 4.63%.
