10 Upcoming Cars Launching This Month: Worth Waiting!?!

The month of March is gonna be a really hectic month for the Indian automotive industry. New cars from different manufacturers are launching giving the existing cars a tough competition. We just entered last month before BS6 rolls out, car manufacturers are ready and loaded to launch their offerings. They’ll be launching the cars with new features and updated BS6 compliant engines. Let’s have a look at the upcoming cars this March.

  1. Hyundai Creta

    The Korean car manufacturer will be launching its new beloved Creta by mid of this month. The Hyundai Creta features updated and plush interiors with major changes in the exterior. The car gets all the same powertrain as its sibling KIA Seltos.

    VW is set to launch its new offering in this segment. The Volkswagon T-ROC will be brought as a CBU unit which will keep the price a bit high. The car gets a 1.5-Litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine making about 140 PS power and 240Nm torque. It is expected to be mated to a Dual-Clutch transmission.

    The company, in the 2020 Indian Auto Expo showcased a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine will is highly likely to be launched this month. The car will get some cosmetic changes that will give the car a go-anywhere character. The old diesel engine will be replaced with a 1.5-Litre K9K diesel engine. The new Renault Duster will be mated to both a manual as well as an automatic transmission.

  7. Force Gurkha

    The major changes in the 2020 BMW X1 are meer engine changes and less cosmetic changes. The car retains its 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel engine. Both the engines are now BS6 compliant. The car notices a drop in power from 92hp to 90hp but the torque has marginally gone up from 280Nm to 400Nm.

    The new offering from VW showcased in 2020 Auto Expo gets an extra row of seats making the car a 7 seater. Powering the car is a 2.0-Litre four-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine capable of developing 180ps power and 320Nm of peak torque.

    The latest 15th edition of Hyundai showcased in the biennial Auto Expo gets some subtle changes. The change is also affecting the powertrain of the vehicle as it gets BS6 petrol as well as a diesel engine.
