The 2020 Hyundai i20 has been spied yet again. This time the car paparazzi covered the digital instrument cluster of the upcoming hatchback.

The 2020 Hyundai i20 was expected to launch at the Auto Expo 2020 alongside the Creta. However, Hyundai to give the car a miss at the event. The new 2020 Hyundai i20 might not get a completely radical design upgrade. Hyundai will consider playing safe when it comes to designing the car. The car might get Hyundai’s signature cascading grille which will also see a newly designed set of headlamps.

The length of the car is expected to stay under the 4-metre category to avail the tax benefits. The front of the car is going to get a major upgrade.

On the engine front, the car is going to share its engine with the Grand i10 Nios. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 83 bhp and a decent enough torque of 114 Nm. Obviously, the engines are going to be BS6 compliant and will be mated with a manual as well as a DCT gearbox.

After coming to India, the 2020 Hyundai i20 will compete with the likes of the Altroz, Baleno and the Volkswagen Polo. While the hot hatch segment is a highly competitive arena, Hyundai i20 has made its mark in the segment quite clearly.
