2020 Hyundai i20’s product walkthrough video was just released showcasing the car inside out and highlighting all the new changes coming to it.

2020 Hyundai i20| Engine Specifications 

  • The next-gen car will get a 48V mild-hybrid engine.
  • The engine will be a 1.0L turbo petrol engine.
  • The 2020 Hyundai i20 will be using iMT (intelligent Manual Transmission)
  • iMT helps increase fuel efficiency by putting the car into coast when the acceleration pedal is not pressed.
  • Other engine options include a 1.2L petrol engine and a 1.5L diesel engine.
  • The transmission includes a 5-speed manual or an automatic CVT transmission.

  • Internally, the next-gen Hyundai i20 gets a new infotainment system which is a 10.25 inches in size.
  • It also gets a same-sized digital instrument cluster.
  • The infotainment system supports Android Auto and Apple car play.
  • It also gets an in-house connectivity app called the Bluelink connected car technology.
  • Cruise control, optional Bose sound system and ambient lighting are some other features available.
  • Exterior also gets an overhaul of cosmetics changes.
  • A new front facia, a new cascading grille, new headlamps giving it a sleek and dynamic look.
  • A connecting light bar is present between the two taillights in the back which are also redesigned.
  • A new alloy wheel design is also visible in the video.
  • Bolder and more visible crease lines across the side make the car pop out more in traffic.

  • Smartsense driving system allows it to prevent any forward collision by braking automatically.
  • Features also include ABS with ESP ensuring car doesn’t overturn.
  • Airbags are also provided to keep the passengers safe in case of an accident.

The car was stated for a summer launch in the EU but it will be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
