The 2020 Hyundai Verna was recently launched. Touted as the “Spirited New Verna”, the 2020 version debuts the 1.0-litre Turbocharged Petrol (T-GDi) variant of the popular sedan. 2020 Hyundai Verna Turbo Engine
The New Hyundai Verna Turbo, is powered by a 1.0-litre T-GDi Turbocharged Petrol Engine that churns about 120bhp and 172nm of Torque. Only the 1.0-litre Turbo variant gets a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) gearbox.
For comparison, the standard 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine developed 115bhp and does away with a rather sluggish CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The Diesel 1.5, on the other hand, gets only a Torque Convertor Automatic.

2020 Hyundai Verna Turbo Exterior Features
With the 2020 Hyundai Verna Turbo, you get a sportier sedan with all-black treatment. A hint of red is also thrown here and there to give a more performance-oriented appeal. The front cascading grille is all black against the chrome on the standard Verna. The chrome bumper lip is also removed from the Verna Turbo. The Turbo Verna also gets front parking sensors which are not present in any variant of the Standard Verna.

You also get a “Turbo” badge placed on the boot.
Other elements like the diamond-cut wheels, chrome door handles and the chrome beading remain the same on both the standard and the Turbo Verna.
The standard Verna gets rear drum brakes while the Verna Turb gets Disc Brake all-around. Another new feature (for the enthusiasts) is an addition of twin-tail pipes on the Verna Turbo and a slightly redesigned rear bumper with deleted chrome elements.
2020 Hyundai Verna Turbo Interior Features
On the inside, the dual-tone dashboard gives way to an all-black theme. You will also notice a red element on the AC vents, steering wheel and the gear lever.
In comparison to the standard Verna, the Verna Turbo also gets additional flappy paddles.

The 1.5L Verna is available in three variants; the S, S Plus and the SX (O) while the 2020 Hyundai Verna 1.0L SX (O) Turbo DCT is only available in the top-of-the-line variant and is priced at Rs. 13,99,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
