2020 Mahindra Thar – Variant-wise features explained

It was recently when our very own home-grown carmaker Mahindra revealed the 2020 version of the brand’s most iconic off-roader the next-gen Mahindra Thar scheduled to launch on October 2nd 2020.

Mahindra has equipped the next-gen multi roader with a plethora of features including a first-in-line 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, roof-mounted speaker set, all-black interior theme, dual-tone front and rear bumpers, LED DRLs, R28 deep silver alloy wheels and LED taillamps to name a few.

Under its hood, we will get to see 2.0L mStallion petrol engine churning 150bhp with 320 Nm of peak torque and a 2.2L mHawk diesel motor generating 130bhp with 300 Nm of peak torque.

Both the engines will come mated to a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new age Thar will also be offered in 2-variants the AX (Standard) and the LX (feature-loaded). So here’s the feature list of both the versions.
