2021 Force Gurkha Teased | Launch on 15th September!

The 2021 Force Gurkha was teased ahead of its launch. The automaker has shared the teaser images of the upcoming off-roader through social media. Finally, the Mahindra Thar is about to get a rival in the market and we will see how the competition goes! Force India teased the upcoming SUV on their official social channels and now that it seems the launch is nearby, we can expect it to launch by 15th September in the Indian market.

Once launched, the 2021 Force Gurkha will take up on the Mahindra Thar and the Maruti Suzuki Jimny which is also expected to launch in the upcoming months in the Indian market. What we can see from the teaser image is that it will have a snorkel and functional roof rails. Apart from this, we can expect this SUV to launch in both 3 door and 5 door configurations with a seating capacity of 4 and 6 people inside! More design upgrades include a new set of LED DRLs along with a redesigned grille and front bumper, turn indicators placed over front fenders, redesigned taillights, newly designed wheels and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The wheel size is 16-inch with a tyre size of 245/70.

Talking about what’s under the hood, the 2021 Force Gurkha comes powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine, that comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power figures are at 89 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque. As soon as you see the power figures, you will realise that the Mahindra Thar is more powerful.
