The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq in its facelifted avatar is soon to make its debut in India. The Kodiaq based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform and shares the underpinnings with the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace. The 2021 Kodiaq is about to make its entry in the UK market in June and India is all hyped up. Here are 5 things you need to know about the 2021 Skoda Kodiaq.
Skoda Kodiaq Launch
The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq is expected to launch in India somewhere in October or November 2021. Given the current Pandemic conditions, it is highly unlikely that Skoda is going to launch the Kodiaq SUV in the near days.
Features & Gadgets
When it comes to features and gadgets, Skoda has not left any stone unturned (after all, you will be paying close to 30 Lakhs!). Starting with the exterior, you will get LED all around, from the headlamps, taillamps, DRLs, to the number plate illumination.
Moving inside, you get push-button start/stop, dual climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an all-digital instrument cluster etc.
There are talks of the vRS version making into India, but as of now consider it as just a rumour. The Skoda Kodiaq vRS is powered by the 2.0L TSI that puts down 245PS on the tarmac all thanks to the tremendous 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The 2021 Skoda Kodiaq will leave you spoilt for choices with a total of five engine options:

Pricing & Rivals
We expect Skoda to price the 2021 Kodiaq very similar to the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace in the range of 32 Lakhs to 35 Lakhs ex-showroom. The new Skoda Kodiaq will rival the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace, the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and the Mahindra Alturas G4 in India.
