2022 Mahindra Scorpio Interior Revealed, Gets 4WD “4Xplor” Variant

With a launch event scheduled for 27 June 2022, the Big Daddy of SUV has gotten the entire nation excited. And now the company has officially revealed the interiors of the Scorpio-N, and there’s also news that the SUV will offer a 4WD “4Xplor” variant for all the off-roading lovers. Here are more details about the same.

The Scorpio-N Interiors

Ahead of the launch, Mahindra has officially revealed the interiors of the all-new Scorpio-N. As per the reveal, the new generation Scorpio is set to offer a completely revolutionized cabin with a more modern and smarter design. The SUV will get several top-notch features onboard, including the smart AdrenoX UI. This means, that the Scorpio-N much like the XUV 700, will offer the AdrenoX offering along with a new 3D sound system from Sony.

Other features onboard the Big Daddy would be additions such as dual-zone climate control, electronic sunroof, brown and black upholstery, flat-bottom steering wheel, large touch infotainment with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, wireless charging dual pod instrument cluster, roof-mounted speakers and much more.

The SUV will also offer choices in terms of seating capacity, with captain seats in the second row and front-facing seats in the third row. The lower variants, however, can get bench-style seating in the second row. The third row will also get 60:40 split seats for better cargo space.

The Scorpio-N “4Xplor”

While the interior reveal was enough to get us all excited, there is other news as well. The higher spectrum variants of the Scorpio-N will be offering 4WD options and will be dubbed the “Scorpio-N 4Xplor”.

The Scorpio N 4Xplor’s will offer high and low ratios that can be easily toggled from centre console-mounted switches. There will also be a terrain mode dial for different surfaces such as rocks, mud, snow and sand.

In terms of hardware, the 4Xplor trim will be similar to what is offered by the Thar with an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle. In addition to the 4WD, the vehicle will also offer the convenience of systems such as hill control, brake-locking front differential, mechanical locking rear differential as well as off-roading stats as seen onboard the Thar.
