2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Launched At Rs. 3.99 Lakhs!

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has been officially launched and buyers are super excited! While the bookings for the Alto had already begun, the prices and variants were revealed today during the official launch event. Here’s everything you need to know about the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10!

  • What’s new on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10?

The overall design of the Alto has been revamped and it now follows a design similar to the one of the Celerio. The front and rear fascia have been completely changed and the grille also looks bigger. The overall size of the car has also increased and so had the room in the cabin. The ground clearance on the Alto now stands at 160mm. This will definitely appeal to the buyers as Indians are always looking for a higher ground clearance! The Alto now sits on Maruti’s latest 5th-gen HEARTEC platform which also houses the Celerio and the Spresso.

  • New features

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 now gets more features than it ever got. It gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a new digital driver’s display, front power windows, and steering-mounted controls. For safety, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 gets dual front airbags, ABS, and reverse parking sensors.

  • Engine

The new Alto K10 gets a 1L petrol engine that makes 67HP and 96nm. The engine is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Maruti claims that this engine is capable of delivering an efficiency of over 24 KM/L! The Alto has always been one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the segment, and the new variant keeps up with the trend.

  • Pricing

The 2022 Alto K10 starts at Rs. 3.99 Lakhs, and goes up to Rs. 5.83 Lakhs for the top-end VXI+ automatic variant. Yes, the prices have increased pretty significantly, but the new variant does offer a lot more than expected.
