Other sub-4-metre SUVs include the Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and the Honda WR-V. The Sonet looks quite promising for the Indian market by what Kia has revealed until now. We can expect the Sonet to be launched by August 2020. Further, we can expect an 83PS 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, a 125PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit and a detuned version of the Kia Seltos’ 1.5-litre CRDI engine to power the new SUV.

Talking of the price range, Rio will come under the price segment of 6-8 lakhs which is a really popular segment here in India.
