1. Tata Punch
   

   

   The latest of all the hottest launches of 2021, the Tata Punch is rather special. Launched at an aggressive price tag of 5.49 Lakhs, the micro SUV from Tata Motors impressed everyone with its feature-rich and dynamic package. Within 12 days of its launch, the vehicle became Tata’s second best-selling vehicle, and also one of India’s safest cars.

2. Mahindra XUV 700
   

   

   The buzz had it for long, with Mahindra finally revealing the SUV in September 2021. The much-anticipated successor to the massive popular XUV 500, the XUV 700 brought in a retuned version of the Thar’s 2-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engine along with class-leading features such as 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, smart door handles, ADAS, AI Integration, etc. Launched at a price of Rs. 12.49 Lakhs, the XUV 700 is hot.

3. MG Astor
   

   

   When it comes to hot vehicle launches of 2021, the Astor is a sure hit. The 5^th offering from the house of MG, the Astor brought in several industry-first features such as Concept of Car-as-a-Platform (CAAP) integrated services, an Artificial Intelligence Robot, L2 Autonomous Driving capabilities, and much more. The cheapest car with L2 ADAS, the Astor was launched at Rs. 9.78 Lakhs, with ADAS versions starting at 15.78 Lakhs.

4. Tata Safari
   

   

   The Safari returned to carry forwards its 21 year old legacy, in February 2021. The avatar was completely redesigned by the manufacturer, giving new birth to the Safari tag. Powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine, the 6/7 seater Safari came in like a breeze of fresh air, offering several features on the table. Priced at Rs.14.99 – 23.19 Lakhs, the Safari is a cult in itself.

   

5. Hyundai Alcazar
   

   

   After much delay caused by the COVID Pandemic, Hyundai launched its 6/7 seater SUV; the Hyundai Alcazar. Rivaling the Safari, the Alcazar is powered by 2-liter petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel engine and has the largest wheelbase in its segment, offering impressive in-cabin comfort onboard with several top-notch features on offer. Priced at Rs.16.30 – 20.14 Lakhs, the Hyundai Alcazar is dashing, premium, and spacious.

6. Skoda Kushaq
   

   

   The King arrived in style and became quite a popular vehicle in no time. With features like connected car tech, ample safety features, ventilated seats, and a lot more, the Kushaq’s launch meant a new competitor in the highly competitive segment. At the center of the vehicle is Skoda’s 1.0 liter and 1.5-liter TSI engine, the Kushaq also comes with a 4-year warranty, extendable to 6 years as well. At Rs. 10.79 – 17.99 Lakhs, the Kushaq is a worthy competitor.

7. Force Gurkha
   

   

   The challenger to the Mahindra Thar, the Force Gurkha’s arrival was much anticipated. Finally arriving on September 27^th, the Gurkha arrived with a package that gave the Thar’s dominance a tough competition. With several class-leading features such as 700 mm of water wading capabilities, lowest in class turning radius, mechanically actuated differential, etc., the Force Gurkha is an off-roader’s dream come true. Priced at Rs. 13.59 Lakhs, the Gurkha is indeed capable.

8. Tata Tigor EV
   

   

   Driving the EV revolution in India, Tata Motor’s second EV passenger offering; the Tigor EV made its debut on 31^st August 2021. Using the Ziptron technology, Tata Tigor EV draws power from its 26kWh Lithium-Ion tech. With a range of 306 Kms and a price of Rs.11.99 – 13.14 Lakhs, the Tigor EV sparked the EV sentiments quite well.
