Datsun Go+ A car no one talks about. The Japanese brand Datsun thought that if they bring a cheap car to the market, it’ll rock and boy oh boy were they wrong. Indians absolutely said no to the flimsy-looking car but hey, it does come with a CVT paired to a 1.0-litre petrol engine; which honestly is a shame. At 6.69 lakhs, it does undercut the above-mentioned cars, but at what cost?

Datsun Go Last and certainly the least. Datsun Go was the first offering by them and they kept it sour and simple. A puny little engine, a fragile body and oh yeah, Cheap! They did try to sew things up by offering a CVT with the same engine as the Go+, but couldn’t help the car. But kudos to Datsun, with a price tag of 6.25 lakhs; it is the most affordable car with CVT transmission.
It’s arguable whether they are good cars or not, but they certainly are revolutionary and they provided the ever so premium CVT to Indians at an affordable price.
