Audi India limits its line-up for customers to only 3 models for 2020

“As India progressed towards Bharat Stage VI (BS-VI) standards in April 2020, with arrangement ahead of time and an advanced methodology, Audi India sold out the whole of its BS-IV supply of vehicles. With the uniform guidelines of BS-VI, we have chosen to introduce a new entire range of models in India. Subsequently, our approach will be to introduce either a brand-new model for first in India or to upgrade our cars for next-generation in at any rate and we will do this in a staged plan. The premium car pioneer has an impeccable product range that follows A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 L, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, R8, and a few other performances designed models. Audi India has been a top-notch brand in the Indian market not very long ago yet now it has been battling to keep up in the business department.

In last year, the Audi India sales took a dip at 4,594 units – their lowest annual sale in 9 years. In correlation with rivals Mercedes and BMW enrolled deals of 13,786 units and 9,000 units respectively for the year 2019.

With BS6 updates set to increase the diesel vehicle costs fundamentally, the COVID-19 circumstance has come as a further spoiler. With a previously frail benchmark in 2019, it will be especially hard for Audi India to develop post-sales in 2020.
