Bajaj Chetak Electric | Price and Rivals
The electric scooter is available in two options: Chetak Urbane and Chetak Premium. The Urbane comes at a price of ₹1 lakh whereas the Premium version is gonna cost around ₹1.15 lakh. The two-wheeled Bajaj will have to race against Ather 450/450X and the upcoming TVS Creon Electric.

Bajaj Chetak Electric | Powertrain Specifications
It comes powered by a 4kW motor that delivers a peak torque of 16Nm. The motor is supported by a 3kWh IP67-rated Lithium-ion battery which provides a claimed range of 95kms in the Eco mode and 85kms in the Sports mode. The charger will be complimentary and will be installed at the customer’s home. The battery comes with a warranty for 50,000kms or three years or whichever is earlier. 3 services will be provided for free at intervals of 12,000kms. The battery takes around 5 hours for a full charge.

Bajaj Chetak Electric | Design Specs
Front of the scooter gets LED headlamps with horseshoe-shaped LED DRL. It also gets front LED turn indicators, rear sequential LED blinkers. The 12-inch alloy wheels will be responsible for smooth road transit. The suspension is taken care of by the single-sided tubular shocker at the front and mono-shock at the rear. The digital instrument console surrounded by satin chrome covers the handle part.

The scooter gets a reverse riding mode, keyless ignition and regenerative braking system. It is a fully connected scooter which provides details like charge status, remaining range and location. One of the best features is that the owner will be notified if there is any unauthorised movement of the scooter.
