  1. Hero Xtreme 160 R

    First up on the list of the bikes to ride after lockdown is the Hero Extreme 160 R which is the 150-160 cc bike. the 160 R gets its power from a BS6 compliant
    160 cc, single-cylinder engine with fuel-injection capable of making 15 bhp with 14 Nm of peak torque.

    Hero also claims that the 160 can also do a 100kmph from a standstill in a matter of 4.7 seconds. With its sharp looks and chiselled lines, the Hero Extreme turns out to be a perfect competitor to the Suzuki Gixxer 155 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

    We sure hope that Aprilla launches the SXR 160 after this whole situation mellows down. Well for those of you who are looking at this beauty for the first time the Aprilia SXR 160 is nations maxi scooter after the Suzuki Burgman. Oh, Wait! the SXR 160 will be the third maxi-scooter as it was Suzuki which launched India’s first maxi-scooter followed by the Honda Forza which was discretely launched and was only limited to a mere 200 units.

    Coming back to the Aprilia 160 this massive scooter will pack a 160 cc 3-valve engine which will generate 10.8 bhp while paired a CVT gearbox. Not only that Aprilia will also bring in a less powerful 125 cc variant as well underpinning the SR 125’s engine and will make 9.4 bhp with 9.9 Nm of peak torque mated to a CVT setup. With such overwhelming specs, the Aprilia 160 is surely a worthy bike to ride after lockdown

    The tiger 900 features a 799 cc engine which generates 93.9 bhp at 8,750 rpm with 87 Nm of peak torque at 7,250 rpm which is 10 percent more torque than its predecessors.

    India’s first authentic off-roader the 2020 Honda Africa twin as launched with its prices starting from ₹ 15.35 lakh and is now bigger, better and stronger than ever and certainly deserves a place on the bikes to ride after lockdown list.

    The new 2020 Hero Africa Twin features a 1,084 cc unit churning 101 bhp at 7,500 rpm with 105 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. While Honda has retained the basic architecture of the engine but now gets a longer stroke from 75.1 mm to 81.5 mm while the 92 mm bore remains the same.

    Look who’s here the first cruiser on the bikes to ride after lockdown the Harley-Davidson Low Rider S which has made it to the 6th place on the list. The Low Rider S made its debut before the lockdown at an attractive price of ₹ 14.69 lakh not only that the company had also planned a special media ride for April 2020 but everything has come to a standstill due to the nationwide lockdown.

    The Harley Low Rider S features a Milwaukee-Eight 114, 1,868 cc, V-twin engine punching 92.5 bhp at 5,020 rpm with 155 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. The engine also gets dual counter-balancers, which initially reduces vibrations and make the ride smooth.

  7. Triumph Street Triple RS

    Here’s another one form the British elite the Triumph Street Triple RS on the bikes to ride after lockdown list and which has also been one of the most likes naked middleweight motorcycle.

    The major update on the Street Triple RS is its engine which has been updated to comply to the new and more stringent BS6 emission norms and puts up 121 bhp at 11,750 rpm with 79 Nm of peak torque at 9,350 rpm. However, it was to hit Indian shores in March 2020 but all thanks to the nation-wide lockdown due to the on-going Coronavirus lockdown which has forced Triumph to postpone its launch indefinitely.
