Maintaining the same reputation, the Indian automaker has sold 1.63 Lakh units which is the highest monthly sale recorded till now! Talking about October 2019, Maruti sold 1.39 Lakh cars. Car Sales October 2020 has been good for MSIL as they have recorded a growth of almost 18%!

The 2020 Hyundai Creta and other new launches have really helped in boosting their sales but as we mentioned above, no one has been able to match Maruti’s sale number yet. While the Nexon EV ended up as the top-selling electric car in India for the month of October 2020, other Tata vehicles have also contributed to the overall sales growth of this Indian brand. Indian customers now have a concern towards safety. The growing need for safe cars in India has made people invest in cars like Tiago and Nexon. Tata Motors has recorded a whopping 79.21% YoY growth which clearly shows that Indians have actually started preferring safety over mileage! Tata sold 23,600 cars this month.

  4. Kia Motors (21,021 Units)

The Japanese automaker has joined hands with MSIL in a hope to gain some customers in the affordable range. They have launched Glanza and Urban Cruiser in the affordable range but it seems like the Indian audience is inclined towards Maruti only. We are saying this because the sales figure of Glanza is nowhere near Baleno’s sale number. Why do you think is it so? Let us know in the comments section below. For the car sales October 2020, Toyota sold 12,372 units.
