The festive season is always a special time for India. Starting from October and going all the way to mid-November, Indian car buyers are always eager to make big purchases during this time. Today, let’s talk about 5 upcoming cars launching this festive season!

  • Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara

First up here is the Grand Vitara. With all the photos, videos, and demos we have seen of this car, it is easily the most awaited one on this list of cars launching this festive season. The Grand Vitara is expected to enter the market by the end of September 2022. It gets two 1.5L petrol engines, one with a strong hybris system and one with a mild hybrid system. The Vitara offers a low of mechanical configurations including AWD, manual transmission, automatic transmission, and a CVT as well.

  • Tata Tiago EV

The Tiago EV is the most exciting name on this list of cars launching this festive season. This small EV is expected to carry the same setup that we have seen on the Tigor EV. It might get the same 26kWh battery that has a claimed range of 306KMs. The Tiago EV will be the first electric car in the segment and Tata will definitely sell a lot of these.

Toyota’s version of the Ciaz, the Belta is also expected in India next month. With Toyota’s lineup decreasing, this would be a good time to fill up the dealerships with a new model. The Belta will get the same 1.5L petrol engine that we see on the Ciaz, however, an automatic variant should be made available.

  • Renault Arkana

The Arkana was spotted testing in India a few months ago and it looked stellar. It is certainly the best-looking car on this list of cars launching this festive season. The Arkana is a coupe-style SUV that would compete with the Creta, Seltos, Harrier, and MG Hector. Do you think the Arkana will be as appreciated? Or will it be another Koleos?

  • Hyundai IONIQ 5

Hyundai’s version of the EV6 that was launched by Kia earlier this year, the IONIQ5 is also expected in India next month. Yes, the pricing is very steep, at around Rs. 60 Lakhs. This EV will compete with the Volvo XC40 Recharge and the Kia EV6. It will most likely carry the same 77.4Kwh battery as the EV6 and will also have the option between an RWD and an AWD.
