Coronavirus- MG pledges Rs 2 Crore towards Medical Aid

Amidst the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and the number of infected increasing day by day, Chinese owned British carmaker MG has recently announced to contribute INR 2 Crore toward the nationwide movement in order to compact the Coronavirus pandemic.

MG Motors will be donating the designated amount to individual health institutions located in Gurugram and Halol. The money is set to be used to buy essential medical equipment consisting of gloves, medicines, ventilators, masks, and more.

Out of the INR 2 Crore being donated by the amount is being donated by the company while the other half is being donated by its employees. Apart from the donation, MG is also helping its dealerships to improve insurance coverage for its dealerships and staff across the nation.

MG has turned out to be the sole carmaker who has eventually come forward with a helping hand in order to fight the on-going Coronavirus outbreak. Additionally, Anand Mahindra, Chairperson of the Mahindra Group has also offered to produce essential medical equipment such as masks and ventilators as there part to combat the Coronavirus outbreak. Anand Mahindra has also donated his entire salary towards this Nobel cause.
