6 Features We Wish Were In The Hyundai Creta

The cars in this 21st century are as advanced as ever before. The Vehicle, be it a hatchback, SUV or MPV, offers more tech and more powerful and fuel-efficient motors than the cars sold about a decade ago. All the car makers put in all sets of gadgets and gizmos in their vehicles. But in the end, to some extent, they miss out on some that either their rival has or their older counterpart. Well, this is precisely what we are after today. In this read, we’d pitch the brand’s top-selling compact SUV, Hyundai Creta. In this nearly perfect Vehicle, here are six things that we wish were present in Hyundai Creta.

  1. 360- Degree Camera

Many cars in the sub ₹20 lakh mark offer 360-degree cameras. One of the prime vehicles from the Hyundai family that posses a 360-degree camera is the Hyundai Alcazar. Even its sibling Kia Seltos boasts of this feature in its top-end trim. The 360-degree camera is especially useful in India, which suffers from bumper to bumper traffic in metro cities. This convenience and safety feature will allow the driver to manoeuvre this big beefy SUV in tight spots without getting shots on the Vehicle.

  2. Front Parking Sensors

No 360-degree camera? Okay, at least front parking sensors would make life a little better in the city. After all, forget Hyundai Alcazar, the car that is a tad bit more affordable than Hyundai Creta gets this feature. If you haven’t guessed already, the new Hyundai Verna in the Turbo trim come with the convenience of front parking sensors. +1 Hyundai Verna!

  3. Manual Transmission With Turbo Petrol

Moving on to another aspect that the new Hyundai misses out on is a stick shift for the turbo petrol engine. Amm, if you were not aware of this already, Hyundai Creta, with its turbo petrol engine, only gets a 7-speed DCT automatic on offer. Whereas the Hyundai’s other sibling Kia Seltos does offer the enthusiasts’ favourite manual control for the gearbox.

  4. Cornering Lamps

Another feature Hyundai Creta says a no is a boon, but only after the dark settles, i.e cornering lamps. These are extra sets of lights that may be housed in the headlight housing or can be a part of the fog lights. These light up after a certain degree of steering movement, which enhances the driver’s visibility as these lights are turned on. Now, if you want to know more about cornering lights, check this out! It’s hard to believe that Hyundai ditched cornering lights in the Creta as the older gen did have a set of these lights. Moreover, the current Hyundai Verna also gets cornering lights. +2 🙂

  5. Driver Side Vanity Mirror

Some features are unimportant in a vehicle, but it’s always good to have one; a driver-side vanity mirror is among those features. In our opinion, very few of the drivers will look at themselves in the Vanity mirror. Still, if its sedan counterpart Hyundai Verna has one, why should Hyundai Creta miss it? +3?

  6. Telescopic Steering Adjustment

What? This was a shocker for us too. But unfortunately, Hyundai Creta also misses out on telescopic steering adjustment. Yup! the top-selling Creta only gets tilt steering adjustment. Now, when we enter in its rivals like Kia Seltos and the sedan Hyundai Verna, both cars get the tilt and telescopic steering. +4 Hyundai Verna!
