But now with newer, better and more promising options in the market, it seems as if Brezza misses out on a lot. So here are 6 things we wish were offered by the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

1. Electronic Stability Program
   

   

   As important as ABS and EBD in the modern-day, the Electronic Stability Program is a crucial safety inclusion that can ensure the safety of passengers in situations where a sudden steering input leads to loss of traction, leading to a hazardous body roll. Without an ESP onboard, the Brezza despite being a compact SUV is prone to skidding and instability; a feature that is a must, especially in SUVs.

2. More Airbags
   

   

   With Indian consumers now being more inclined towards safety than ever before, the Vitara Brezza seems to miss out on the basics. Yes, we are talking about airbags. It’s the 21^st century, but the Brezza is still offered with only 2 airbags, even on the top model. You read that right. There are no side/curtain airbags on offer. The least Maruti could do was to provide 4 airbags, if not 6.

   

3. A Diesel Powertrain
   

   

   Considering that the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has always been a diesel vehicle, thanks to the dreaded BS6 norms, the Vitara Brezza lost one of its strongest suits; a diesel powertrain. Ever since the Brezza has transitioned to the BS6 compliance, Maruti has ditched the diesel burner. Known to provide one of the most efficient engines in India, Maruti’s Diesel engine is one of the most demanded features from the Vitara Brezza, which sadly now the OEM does not offer at all.

4. Electronically Adjustable Seats
   

   

   The key to a comfortable ride is a perfect driving position. And to help you find the perfect spot, the Vitara Brezza only offers manual controls that can be quite a struggle to adjust. With electronically adjustable seats, one can enjoy the comfort of precise positioning with a touch of a button. But sadly, that’s something the Brezza misses out on.

5. 360 Degree Cameras
   

   

   In a country like India where roads are usually jam-packed and congested, features like front parking sensors, 360-degree cameras etc. are like a gift. In fact, even onboard vehicles that do not offer a reverse parking camera, the device is retrofitted in almost every case. Now imagine how convenient things could have got if a wide and tall vehicle like Brezza would have offered now just a rear camera, but a 360 degree surround camera.

6. Sunroof
   

   

   With sunroof being a total craze in India, the Vitara Brezza missing out on one has got people asking for it ever since the vehicle has launched. Offered onboard a few competitors, a sunroof does add an airy feel to the cabin, along with other associated benefits.
