Fisker Ocean Electric SUV is the latest product in the lineup of the automaker who is famous for its production, the Fisker Karma. The Consumer Electronics Show is going on in Las Vegas and the latest news from the CES is the unveiling of the Fisker Electric SUV!
The chairman and CEO, Fisker- Mr Henrik Fisker teased the Fisker Ocean Electric SUV almost a year ago. This was a much-awaited car from Fisker’s production line. Finally, the car has been unveiled now at the CES 2020. Talking about the sales, all the customers eyeing this SUV will be able to buy it from late 2021 starting with its launch in the USA. The Fisker Ocean electric SUV will then be launched in Europe and China in 2022. The good news is that Fisker further plans to bring this SUV to India as well!

Fisker plans to assemble this SUV in India in the coming years. We can expect the Ocean SUV to be assembled in India in the coming years (possibly less than a decade), confirmed Mr Henrik Fisker. The aim is to develop a sustainable electric SUV for the Indian audience. The Fisker Ocean has already got ample space and features as of now. The only thing to worry about is the price. Price can be brought down by assembling the car in India itself which is the ultimate plan of the automaker. They plan to offer lower-cost versions in India that would be very competitive to the already existing rivals. Fisker plans to pass on the benefit of the cost that will be saved by assembling the SUV in India directly to the customers. Appreciable!

The electric SUV comes with 2-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options. The 80KWh battery housed inside this car can last upto 480 kms and can hit 0-100km/h in just 3 seconds! The SUV gets a ‘California Mode’. This will open all the windows on the car including the rear windscreen and the sunroof! The Electric SUV has got a clean dashboard with touchscreen infotainment in the centre. The screen behind the steering wheel acts as an instrument console and a heads up display as well which will display the lyrics of the songs played. In case you want to sing along!
