Honda has been known in India for sedans like the City & Civic, but one must adapt to changing trends. Their upcoming Elevate SUV has been spotted testing once again before its global debut on June 6. Let’s see what we know:
Elevate Spied Testing
Honda had been testing the compact SUV on Indian roads for a significant period of time. The latest spy-shots reveal the front fascia with some visible features through a finely wrapped camouflage. It stands on all-black alloy wheels with reflectors at the rear.

Elevate features a chunky front fascia with a large grille and sleek wraparound LED headlamps. The bonnet is somehow flat with a muscular shape. This confirms that the majority of the concept form will make it to the production level.
Powertrain
It is expected to be powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that powers its sedan sibling, the City. It churns out 120 hp 145Nm and Honda might also add hybrid powertrains for their compact SUV later on.

Among the other confirmed features, we have a small electric sunroof, roof rails, body-colored ORVMs, and a shark-fin antenna. For the rear profile, we have an LED strip connecting the talllights and the Eleverate badge.
Honda Sensing
There are no details about the interior, but there is word about a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The digital instrument cluster might be 10.2-inches with other convenience features such as ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera.

It might also get ADAS features with Honda Sensing technology. It was developed by Honda itself and introduced in India with the new generation City e:HEV. This will be the replacement for the WRV, and it will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos.
