Honda Elevate | A Step Over Creta?

Honda has been one of the most trusted brands in India and if it comes to reliability, If we talk about sales and the number of customers this brand has got in India, Honda City and now the Honda Amaze are doing exceptionally well in the Indian market but each one of us knows SUVs seem to be the future looking at the changing trend and now if a brand needs to survive in India, they will have to step into the SUV segment.

This upcoming SUV from the house of this Japanese automaker is expected to hit the Indian market by August 2023. Some dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the same. With the new name coming in, Honda has finally let go of the nomenclature they were following, and this Creta Rival has finally got a name other than those ending with the “V”s.

Going by what the brand has told us till now, we know that this compact SUV will have a set of connected LED taillamps, LED headlights, fog lamps and DRLs. it also gets chunky wheel arches, roof rails and a big grille. Inside the cabin, the SUV is expected to get an electric sunroof, infotainment bigger than 8 inches, wireless charging and much more that will make this SUV a perfect pick and a worthy rival for sure!

On the safety front, it is expected to have 6 airbags, ADAS, ECS, traction control and more. If we talk about engine and powertrain, the Honda Elevate is not expected to get a diesel powertrain. It will most probably get a 1.5L NA petrol engine.

The rivals include the above-mentioned MG Astor, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross and Skoda Kushaq.
