The 350cc segment of bikes just got heated as the global leader of two-wheeler, Honda has launched the Highness CB 350. It rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Jawa ‘Jawa’ and the Benelli Imperiale 400. The segment is lead by Royal Enfield Classic 350 while the Jawa and Imperiale 400 are trying to grab their share in the market. Will the Honda H’ness pose any threat to the rivals? Let’s find out!

Honda H’ness vs Rivals | Which of them is powerful?

Engine Comparison

Honda H’ness Royal Enfield Classic 350 Jawa ‘Jawa’ Benelli Imperiale 400
Engine 348.3cc 346cc 293cc 374cc
Power 20.8hp 19.1hp 26.14hp 20.7hp
Torque 30Nm 28Nm 27.05Nm 29Nm
Gearbox 5-speed Manual 5-speed Manual 6-speed 5-speed
  • Even though the Jawa has the smallest engine among the four, it is the most powerful and that too with a good margin.
  • When it comes to the torque, Honda H’ness delivers the best number.
  • In the list, only Honda H’ness has the first-in-class feature of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). This system senses the difference between the front and the rear wheel speeds and adjusts the torque accordingly. And there is a switch on the left console to turn it On/Off. This does put the extra torque on work.

The bigger, the better?

Honda H’ness offers a list of first-in-class features which the rivals do not offer.

Honda H’ness vs Rivals | Price Comparison

Models Price (Ex-Showroom)
Honda H’ness ₹1,90,000 (Expected)
Royal Enfield Classic 350 ₹1,61,688
Jawa ‘Jawa’ ₹1,74,000
Benelli Imperiale 400 ₹1,99,000

If you ask me personally, I would recommend Jawa ‘Jawa’ over the other bikes as the power output is the meanest of them all. Honda H’ness does have an upper hand when it comes to features, and the ones looking out for them should consider the H’ness.
