Hyundai i30 facelift revealed! Will it arrive in India?

Hyundai has finally revealed the facelift to their VW Golf rival. The Hyundai i30 has recently received a mid-cycle upgrade. The new Hyundai gets an all-new exterior design. There are some added features on the inside and more safety considerations have also been added to make this car a popular pick! The i30 has got a new mild-hybrid tech and connectivity features which makes it stand strong among the existing rivals.

Hyundai i30 gets a new wide grille with 3D patterns. The headlamps are now slimmer and there are added V-shaped LED elements too. The bumpers are completely new on both the 5-door model and the fastback version of the hatch. The sportier version of the i30 is the N-line variant. This variant gets a completely different grille design and other alterations as well. These justify the sporty presence of the variant in the market.

The cabin of the all-new Hyundai i30 has also seen a few changes. Starting with the 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Hyundai’s connected car tech- the i30 has got it all! Other features that make this Hyundai a popular pick include wireless charging and cloud car accessibility. On the other hand, the newly added safety features include Lane Following Assist, Rear Collision-Avoidance Assist and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, extending the existing tally of safety kit.

The Hyundai i30 is powered by a 120hp 1.0-litre petrol engine and a 136hp 1.6-litre diesel. The 48V hybrid technology comes standard with both manual and automatic versions. The automaker showcased the i30 fastback version at the Auto Expo 2020 in India. Hyundai plans to launch their N performance brand in India and we suppose the i30 fastback will be the first model to debut in the Indian market under the performance range.
