The festive season is around the corner and it seems as if the celebration has already begun. With September 2022 proving to be a brilliant month for almost all major OEMs in India, here’s how Hyundai shined through the 9th month of this calendar year.
Hyundai All The Way

While the month was great for several key OEMs, Hyundai Motors had a pretty big reason to rejoice. For starters, the domestic sales of HMIL almost touched 50k. The YoY sales growth was a superb 50.2% with 49.7k units sold, up from 33k units.
The export chart was all green as well with 13.5k units sold, up from the previous 12.7 units, scoring an overall volume gain of 6.27%. In terms of cumulative sales, HMIL marked 63,201 units up from 45,791 which is a great sign.

Overall sales in Q3 neared 1.5 lakh units with MoM domestic sales jumping up by 49,510 units. Sales growth is reported at 0.38 per cent at a volume gain of 190 units. With monthly sales averaging around 50k units for each month of Q3 2022, the quarter ended well. And with 1,49,710 units sold, growth jumped 17 per cent.
In terms of the frontrunners, Creta did exceptionally well with bookings jumping up by 36 per cent. On the occasion, Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “With the excellent resilience shown by the Indian economy over the last few quarters, the festive season has further fuelled the demand momentum. All three of our new launches Hyundai VENUE, VENUE N Line and TUCSON in the SUV space have received unprecedented customer response.”
