Hyundai Motors India Sells over 21,000 Cars in June 2020

Hyundai Motors India has recently announced its overall sales of 21,320 units for the month of June 2020. The South Korean carmaker has also exported 5,500 units which sum up the total to 26,820 units.

This designated figure also marks a steep 50% drop in sales compared to the company’s last year’s sales number in the same month. However, looking at the current situation and comparing it to the brands last month’s performance Hyundai has also registered an impressive 209% from a little over 6,000 units dispatched in May to an impressive 26,820 units in June alone.

The all-new 2020 Hyundai Creta is what accounts for more than half of the brand’s overall sales as since its launch which was just days before the nation went into a complete lockdown but still, the 2020 Creta did manage to get over 30,000 bookings last month and Incidentally, the has also become the 2020 Creta was also awarded the best selling car of the month in May which was by far the slowest month in the history of car sales.

This has helped us achieve a wholesale volume of 21,320 units in the domestic market for June 2020. Additionally, we have exported 5,500 units showcasing HMIL’s commitment to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ vision for the world markets.
