Seltos, which launched in the year 2019, has been one of the best selling compact SUVs in India. Taking the market by storm, it has been evident that Seltos has increased the competition in the segment. Now, it has been tested at the Global NCAP crash testing and the results have clearly shown that the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is safer. Seltos has scored a 3-star rating while the segment topper scored a 4-star rating.

One of the most disappointing factors here is that the bodyshell integrity of the Seltos has been rated unstable. The footwell area has also been rated unstable. Moreover, the safety rating for child occupancy is 2-star, again another low for an SUV that costs around ₹20lakhs.
