Korean carmaker Hyundai is all set to launch its most awaited compact SUV the next-gen Hyundai Creta on 17th March 2020. While the new model boasts some new updated which were missing from the outgoing model. That said the new Hyundai Creta still lacks behind in terms of features if compared to its direct rival and its cousin the Kia Seltos.
Let’s have a look at the features which the Kia Seltos has and the Hyundai Creta doesn’t.
360 Degree Parking Camera
Well, this feature might not be some out of the box feature but turned out to be the first in its segment to have a 360-degree parking camera which eventually makes the car easy to manoeuvre through tight spaces like congested lanes and small parking spaces.
Blind View Monitor
The blind view monitor is just another jewel which sits on the Kia Seltos. This feature makes use of the camera housed inside of the ORVM and then displays the feed on its 7-inch display which resides in inside if the instrumental cluster. This allows the driver to see what’s coming from behind without taking their eyes off the road and comes handy while changing lanes.
Just to make thing clear the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos share the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel unit and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. However, the Kia Seltos gives you the choice of either a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT auto, while the Hyundai Creta on offers an automatic option which eventually makes the Seltos more affordable and appealing to car enthusiasts who love the stick-shift lock.
Yet another first in its segment is the which the Kia Seltos offers is the 8.0-inch heads-up display which can display the current vehicle speed and the navigational updates if connected to any for the driver to see without taking his/her eyes off the road. However, this feature comes exclusively reserved for more premium cars such as Mercedes’s and Audi’s making the driving much safer experience.
Front Parking Sensors
The Kia Seltos also features front parking sensors only available only on the top-spec variants, these parking sensors make the car much easier to manoeuvre through tight spaces.
Multi-colour sound mood lighting
The Seltos also supports ambient lighting with LED mood lighting which can flicker in sync with the music being played through the car’s multimedia system. It lights up the front cabin in a variety of colours that can be controlled via the car’s infotainment system. While the 2020 Hyundai Creta only offers blue ambient lighting.
