Mahindra Bolero 2020 Spotted Testing!

Mahindra Bolero has been the workhorse for the auto manufacturer since its launch. Scorpio and Bolero have been the pillars of sales Mahindra. We have seen that all the auto manufacturers are working on upgrades for their cars to comply with the upcoming BS6. Mahindra is constantly working on upgrading the Scorpio and the XUV 500. Amidst all this, Bolero has also been considered to get a cosmetic upgrade and interior changes as well. The Mahindra Bolero 2020 arrives soon!

The front of the new 2020 Mahindra Bolero comes with a new fascia. The rear side gets upgrades to ensure that the Bolero complies with the latest crash test norms as well! The refurbished nose of the vehicle ensures it to be safer than the currently existing flat-nosed model. The front gets a whole new grille, new bumper and headlamps too. The interior gets a brand new upholstery. We are not sure of the material yet because the spy shots haven’t revealed that much.

The new Mahindra Bolero 2020 gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine which will be BS6 compliant of course. The engine is expected to deliver 70 bhp and 196Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission The updates on the vehicle have been done to increase the overall lifespan of the vehicle. The latest news is that the test vehicle or the test mule has been spotted testing on the road recently. The vehicle was fitted with an emission testing device at the rear which is being used for testing the BS6 compliance.

The new Mahindra Bolero 2020 is the first UV (Utility Vehicle) that is BS6 ready according to ICAT. While BS6 has almost arrived, manufacturers are continuously upgrading their technology to meet the requirements before the deadline arrives!
