India’s most popular SUV is all set to make it back to the domestic market with the BS6 upgrade and not only that Mahindra has also started taking bookings at a token amount of Rs 5,000. The all-new Mahindra Scorpio BS6 will be offered in 4 variants including the S5, S7, S9 and S11.

  • On the Outside, the 2020 Mahindra Scorpio gets an all-new grille which helps the Scorpio inhale better. It will also feature a new set of fog lamps, headlamps and a new curved bonnet for those who had difficulty over-looking the road.
  • The silhouette on this beast has also changed all thanks to the forward-facing third-row which requires a bump at the rear end.
  • The rear overhang has also changed which might increase the knee room requirement for tall people.
  • On the Inside, the top-spec variants on the Scorpio will receive a massive touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and satellite navigation.
  • Other additional features will include wireless phone charging capabilities, automatic climate control, new flat-bed steering wheel with compressive controls on it, and updated touch and feel surfaces to make the Scorpio look and feel premium.

  • The 2020 Mahindra Scorpio BS6 is likely to have 3 drive modes: Eco, City and Sport.
  • The Eco mode will be the economy mode which will help the driver to extract the best fuel efficiency.
  • The City mode will be the best suited for city traffic conditions
  • The Sports mode will be there to extract the maximum engine performance.
  • The AWD (All Wheel Drive) mode is expected to have an additional off-road driving mode as well.

  • Wit the new BS6 upgrade we can expect the prices to see a hike between Rs 20,000 to 30,000 so on that note the new prices could range between Rs- 14 lakh to 19 lakh.
  • The all-new Mahindra Scorpio with the BS6 upgrade will continue to rival the Toyota Fortuner, MG Hector, Kia Seltos and the recently launched 2020 Hyundai Creta.
