One of India’s most trusted SUVs now has 5 new variants. Yes, the recently launched Mahindra Scorpio N has 5 new siblings. These new variants include Z2 Petrol (E), Z2 Diesel (E), Z4 Petrol (E), Z4 Diesel (E), and Z4 Diesel (E) AWD.
- All of the new variants will only be available in manual transmission
- The prices for the 5 new variants will range between ₹12.49 lakh-16.94 lakh (Ex-Showroom)
- These new variants have also received new safety features which include- ESC (electronic stability control) and hill hold assist.
- Other than that, all the mechanical features remain the same.
- It continues to sport a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel mill.
- These come mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
- The standard Scorpio N comes with rear-wheel drive, but its diesel mill comes with an AWD option as well.
- With the addition of these 5 new variants, the total variant count of the Mahindra Scorpio N now stands at 30.
- The standard feature list remains the same, as it continues to get a touchscreen infotainanment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered windows, multi-functional steering wheels among others.
- With these new variants it continues to rival the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and the Mahindra XUV700.
- It seems that by adding new variants, Mahindra is tsking on more load. As reports sugggest that Mahindra has over 2,00,000 pending orders.
- Moreover, Mahindra has also stopped the billings for the XUV700 and the Scorpio N due to the pending orders.
