Maruti Suzuki Dominates Yet Again! 10 Best Selling Cars In November 2019

Maruti Suzuki has again dominated the sales chart this time! 7 out of the top 10 selling cars for the month of November 2019 are from the MSIL lineup. The minor difference from the last month’s sales report is that we can’t see the Dzire on the top this time. The Dzire has slipped to the third position but still, the chart is being dominated by its siblings only! Let’s have a look at the detailed stats for the sales report- November 2019.

The largest-selling car in India for the month of November 2019 was the Maruti Suzuki Swift. Followed by Baleno, Dzire, Alto and Wagon R the Maruti family was the only one seen majorly in the figures. Here’s the list for the top 10 best selling cars in India for November 2019:

• Maruti Suzuki Swift
  Swift recorded a sale of total 19,314 units this time. As compared to November 2018, this number has decreased by 2,877 units. This means a decrease of 13% YoY sales.No doubt the sale figures are low but still, Swift has topped the sales chart for the month of November 2019.
  

• Maruti Suzuki Baleno
  This premium hatch from Maruti has never failed since its launch! Toyota Glanza, on the other hand, is nowhere to be seen in the top-selling cars. FYI, Toyota Glanza is the re-badged version of the already existing Baleno. But still, people prefer buying Baleno over Glanza. Brandname counts, we suppose! Baleno was able to gather a sale figure of 18,047 units which is merely 4% less than the last year’s sale.

• Maruti Suzuki Dzire
  The Dzire sold a total of 17,659 units for the month of November 2019 as against 21,037 units with Year-on-Year decline of 17 per cent. This sedan sibling of the Swift has been leading the sales since last few months. This time it has bagged the third position. Not bad!
  

• Maruti Suzuki Alto
  This economy hatch has survived in the market for quite long now. Despite of the competition from the Hyundai Eon in the past years or the Renault Kwid (0.8) in the present time, Alto has defeated all of them! Alto recorded a sale number of 15,086 units in the last month which is 20% less than its last year’s sale in the month oh of November.
  

  

• Maruti Suzuki WagonR
  This car is the best tallboy hatch in the country in terms of sales. The recent facelift has pushed WagonR’s sales numbers to the next level. WagonR has experienced a 20% hike in the YoY sale stats for the month of November. WagonR sold a total of 14,650 units this November.
  
  

  

• Kia Seltos
  This new launch has been in huge demands ever since Kia announced its India debut. Seltos making it into the top-10 selling cars is an achievement within itself. Kia Seltos has recorded a sale of 14,005 units for the month of November 2019.
  

  

• Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
  Vitara Brezza is still leading the subcompact SUV segment. The sale amount recorded for Vitara Brezza in November 2019 was 12,033 units. Its competitor, the Hyundai Venue managed to sell only 10,000 units and therefore has not made it into the top-10 list.
  

  

• Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
  November 2019 was the second month for the S-Presso’s sale. This car was launched on 30th September 2019. Renault’s Kwid facelift is rivalling the S-Presso and the competition is quite impressive. But this time, the S-Presso has scored an edge with a sale of 11,420 units.
  

  

• Hyundai Elite i20
  Finally, we see a brand other than Maruti Suzuki in the top 10 list. Hyundai has made it into this list with its premium hatch- the i20. The Elite i20 sold a total of 10,279 units this November which is 3% less than its last year’s sales.

  

• Hyundai Grand i10
  The Grand i10 Nios has managed to sell a total of 10,188 units. Barely making it into the list, the Nios stands at the last place in the most-sold vehicles for the month of November 2019.
