The 2022 Brezza was recently launched by Maruti Suzuki, but there’s no sign of a CNG variant as of now. Well, a lot of Maruti customers are looking forward to more CNG variants in the lineup and Brezza is one of the most in-demand cars. So today, let’s talk about the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG!
Will there be a Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG?
While there’s no official statement about this, Maruti executives have hinted that there will be a CNG variant for the Brezza. Ever since the diesel engines have been ditched, buyers want a replacement that offers better efficiency than the 1.5L petrol. Therefore, a Brezza CNG might come out sooner than you think!
When will it launch?
There’s no clear indication as to when the Brezza CNG will launch. However, it is expected to make its way into the market once Maruti has properly delivered the pending units. Currently, Maruti Suzuki is looking to expedite their production and match the demands, they’re trying to keep waiting periods for all cars as low as possible. Roughly speaking, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG should be in the market by Q4 of 2022 or Q1 of 2023.
How much will it cost?
Like any other CNG add-on, the Brezza CNG should be about Rs. 60 – 80 thousand more expensive than the petrol variants. This is a decent price to ask considering the fact that these kits will be factory-fitted and therefore will be covered under the regular servicing of your car. Moreover, having a cheaper, retro-fit CNG kit on your car is not the best way to go.
