The much-awaited Maruti Suzuki Futuro-e has been launched at the Auto Expo 2020 by India’s largest carmaker at the Day 1. The concept in design terms is a major shift from the orthodox design Maruti has carried from a long time.
The concept comes as the leader in Maruti’s ‘Mission Green Million’ which involves introducing affordable green mobility. It will also include CNG, Smart Hybrid and Strong Hybrid along with the Electric technologies.
Talking about the Futuro-e, Maruti plans to strengthen its hold in the SUV segment, which is a growing segment in India. With Vitara Brezza already having a good share in the market, let’s see what this SUV brings with it.
