Mercedes-Benz To Get Costlier Ahead Of 2020

Mercedes-Benz India, an ultra-premium automaker offering such as S-class, E-class, GLS and many more, had to face the 2019 Indian automobile slump like the other automakers. The Diwali season brought delight to the company with good sales numbers. Now, Mercedes-Benz India has announced a price hike of up to 3% across all its offerings. The hike will be in effect from the first week of January 2020. The company has stated the rising inputs and commodity costs as the reason for the price hike.

CLA Rs 31.72 lakh
C-Class Rs 40.1 lakh to Rs 50.24 lakh
C-Class Cabriolet Rs 65.25 lakh
C-Class AMG Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1.38 crore
E-Class Rs 58.8 lakh to Rs 75 lakh
E-Class AMG Rs 1.5 crore
CLS Rs 84.7 lakh
S-Class Rs 1.35 crore to Rs 1.39 crore
S-Class AMG Rs 2.55 crore
GLA Rs 32.33 lakh to Rs 38.64 lakh

Mercedes-Benz India is not the only automaker to announce the price hike. Hyundai India has announced that there will be a price hike although the exact figures have not been stated by the company. The prices of Nissan-Datsun models will also be revised by January 2020.
