If launched, the MG ZS SUV will compete with the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos which currently rule the Indian SUV market. The engine that the automaker is planning to launch in India is a 1.0-litre direct-injection petrol unit that is capable of generating 111hp and 160Nm torque. The speed figures for the MG ZS are also great. A mid-size SUV having a top speed of 180kph and a 0-100 sprint time of 12.4 seconds is really great in terms of performance!

Talking about features, the automaker is known for providing feature-packed vehicles in the affordable price segment. As fas as the MG ZS is considered, it is expected to lie in a starting range of under 15 Lakhs. We can expect it to lack some of the features that the ZS EV has got. But the automaker may reconsider its decision to live the competition that the Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Creta are already providing in India. We can expect the ZS SUV to launch anytime in 2021.
