Meet The Batmobile-Inspired Maruti Suzuki Ignis

The Suzuki Ignis may be the least preferred model among other Maruti’s. However, enthusiasts think another way around. Its quirky design and high ride height make for a great starting point. As they say, its built, not bought.

Sold via the Nexa chain, the Suzuki Ignis is one of the best handling and fun-to-drive vehicles in the brand’s lineup. The Kei car design is a love or hate concept; you like it or don’t like it. Today we present you a heavily modified Ignis inspired by the infamous Batmobile.

As the car is fairly new and there are just 7K kilometres on the odometer, many engine modifications (BMC performance air filter & a Catback exhaust) are not there. However, the owner plans an aftermarket downpipe and a tune-up shortly.

What Else Is Done To This Suzuki Ignis?

Most of the modifications on this Ignis are cosmetic, starting from chrome; every shiny bit is blacked out. Also, all the emblems are deleted. Every light is also given a custom touch, from headlights to fog lamps. The whole car has been custom wrapped in matte vinyl to save the OEM paint.

The most beautiful thing is the huge alloy wheels protruding out of the fender, giving a must-have road presence. They are wrapped in top-of-the-line Yokohama Advan rubber. The Ignis looks bulky from the front but tapers down weirdly at the end. To solve this issue, the owner has installed two huge spoilers, which do the job very efficiently. The cherry on the cake is the Akrapovic carbon black exhaust tip. The exhaust note is subtly loud and not obnoxious to alert the cops.

All of these things make this one-off Ignis in India. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comment section.
