Koenigsegg is a unique name, and so is the technology behind its vehicles. One such vehicle from this carmaker is the Gemara. What’s so special about the car? Well, this is a hypercar with only a 2.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Yes! You read it right, a 3-cylinder.

That’s not all; this “tiny friendly giant engine” (this is what Koenigsegg likes to call the engine) makes a whopping 600 hp and 600 Nm of peak torque. The last time I checked, a two-litre 4-cylinder TSI motor from Skoda makes just 190hp of max power.

Gemera uses multiple technologies in the engine to produce nearly 3 times the power of a 2.0-litre TSI motor. That said, this uses a twin-turbo setup with about 29psi of boost. That’s not all; the hypercar has 3 motors that drive up the total power to 1700hp.

  2. Tesla Model S (0-100 in just 2.4 seconds)

Green energy or battery power might take the world like a pandemic. That said, Tesla, with its line-up, already shows a small trailer of what could be the future of automobiles. This carmaker surely has no boundaries when it comes to innovation. Tesla Model S is one of the admired all-electric vehicles across the globe.

What’s so special about the sedan? Tesla Model S can drive on highways and even on the streets. But for safety reasons, the diver must constantly touch the steering to show their presence and not drowsy. That’s just the half story. Model S is faster than most supercars or even hypercars regarding acceleration.

For instance, Bugatti Chiron takes 2.5 seconds to go from 0-100kmph, which is fast. But the Tesla Model S is even quicker and can clock 100kmph from a standstill in just 2.4 seconds.

The numbers don’t sound exciting, but here’s a fact. Honda Civic Type-R can do 0-100kmph in just 5.4 seconds. Plus, the aerodynamic package makes the Civic around a track fast.
