10 Car Manufacturers And Their Most Powerful Petrol Engines

It takes many chemical reactions to produce power from an engine. First, the chemical energy is converted into heat energy. And this heat energy is converted into mechanical energy. Now after simple mathematical calculation, the power of the engine is calculated. This power can be denoted by horsepower. And when the engine is tested on a Dyno, the reading shown are in bhp or the brake horsepower.

Well, that was little basic of how the engine produces power and how it is measured. With that clear, in this day and age people’s mentality is slightly shifting. In the old times where most of the buyers were after efficiency, now people have started considering power over fuel economy. And the carmakers here are surely acknowledging it.
