Honda’s much-awaited hatchback, the Jazz has been showcased in a new avatar. Recently, Honda launched the all-new Honda City and the WR-V. Now it’s time for the Jazz to uncover. Let’s see what key highlights you can expect. Before starting, let me tell you that there are some minor changes you can expect.
Any Engine or Transmission update?
There is no official information on the engine part yet. But we can expect the New Jazz to have the same options as that of the Honda WR-V.
|Engine||1.2-litre i-VTEC Petrol||1.5-litre i-DTEC Diesel|
|Power||88.05hp @6,000rpm||97.8hp @3,600 rpm|
|Torque||110Nm @4,800rpm||200 Nm @1,750rpm|
|*Fuel Efficiency for Honda WR-V, for Jazz, it may vary|
You can expect the petrol engine to get a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel is expected to get a 6-speed manual. As for the automatic transmission, the chances are pretty low.
What is new on the all-new Update Jazz?
Jazz will be boasting first-in-segment one-touch sunroof. The Japanese carmaker has stated that it will have the best-in-class space inside the cabin, although we will have to wait for the official dimensions.
On the exterior, you will find a Chrome Accentuated High Gloss Black Grille, advanced LED headlamps with DRLs, advanced LED fog lamps and signature rear LED wing lights. These are the major changes you can expect the Honda Jazz to have.
Other features such as a new 7.0-inch DigiPad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment interface compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This infotainment is currently seen on the Honda WR-V as well.
