Mahindra is all set to launch 18 vehicles at the Auto Expo 2020. The line-up will include electric vehicles, facelifts and new models too. But the iconic Thar won’t be visible at the Expo as the manufacturer has some other plans.
Mahindra Thar will be launching in the month of March. Due to launch before the deadline for BS6 emission norms, it will be equipped with:

The SUV might get an automatic transmission at a later stage. There are reports suggesting that there might be a petrol variant too.
Mahindra Thar 2020 | Interior/Exterior and Safety
- The design of the 2020 Mahindra Thar is totally revamped. It will be getting all-new body panels along with the grander front bumper, integrated with fog lamps, LED DRLs and LED taillamps.
- At the interior, the Mahindra Thar will have a new front fascia. It will also have the convenience of 4 power windows. A touchscreen system is expected to be offered in higher variants.
- All thanks to the strict safety norms coming into play, Mahindra will be making the Thar a lot safer. It will have driver airbag, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, a seat belt reminder and a speed alert system as standard safety features.
