Pictures of the new 2020 Suzuki Swift has surfaced online. Now, this is the international specification of the new Swift and chances of this same model landing in India is very low. The 2020 Swift gets a new front profile with a new grilled and refreshed alloy wheels. Earlier this year, spy shot of the Suzuki Swift Sport was seen on a flatbed with many speculating the model to arrive in India. The pictures were taken at the IGI Airport in Delhi.

Given that the Dzire has recently been refreshed, reports also suggest that an India-specific Maruti Swift Facelift will for sure launch later in 2020, after the Indian Automobile sector stabilizes from the Coronavirus Pandemic, that is.
The changes on the International-spec Swift are very subtle; The headlight has been tweaked with a new design, the from grille features a honeycomb mesh pattern with a chrome line running across. The specific model seen in the pictures is for the Japanese market which will get a 48V onboard mild-hybrid system.
The India-bound Swift, that is long due will also get minor design updates and will carry forward the new BS6 Compliant 1.2-litre K12C Dual-Jet petrol engine good for 90hp same as on the Dzire facelift. Transmission duty will be done via a 5-speed manual or an AMT (Automated Manual Gearbox).
When launched, the Maruti Swift Facelift will compete against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Ford Freestyle, Tata Altroz and Volkswagen Polo in the Indian market.
