Porsche Cayenne Coupe India Launch Confirmed | Insights

Porsche has finally announced the launch of the Cayenne Coupe in India. The German performance carmaker plans to launch the Cayenne Coupe in India on 13th December 2019. This new addition to Porsche’s India lineup was unveiled globally earlier this year in March. The Cayenne Coupe will be introduced in India in 3 variants namely Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne Turbo Coupe, and Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe.

Highlights | Porsche Cayenne Coupe

  • The Porsche Cayenne Coupe launches in India on 13th December 2019.
  • It will be available in three variants – Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne Turbo Coupe, Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe.
  • The buyers will have two engine options as well. The engine variants include a 3.0-litre V6 and 4.0-litre V8 engine 
  • Optional Sports Chrono package for better performance figures.

This new version of the Cayenne features a wide touchscreen infotainment system which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.Talking of the instrument cluster, there is a central analogue tachometer which has got two full HD displays on either side through which navigation along with other data like real-time G-Force, fuel economy and tyre pressure can be checked.

Porsche Cayenne Coupe

Though the Porsche Cayenne Coupe has inherited the exactly same cabin from the Cayenne, the panoramic sunroof is now a standard feature. The carbon roof still remains optional. This vehicle features the Porsche Active Aerodynamics which extends the will extend the spoiler by 135mm to maintain the aerodynamics of the car as soon as it hits 90kmph.

Under the hood, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe comes with a 3-litre six-cylinder engine which produces 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. This engine can do a 0-100kmph sprint in 6 seconds. This is the stat for the Sport Chrono package. This figure drops down to 5.9seconds if you go for the lightweight sports package. The Cayenne Turbo houses a 4.0litre V8 engine that produces 542bhp and 770Nm of torque.
