The German automobile giant Porsche has launched much-awaited SUV-coupé, Cayenne Coupé, in India. The SUV comes with two petrol engine options. It comes as a rival to Mercedes Benz S-class, Range Rover Sport, BMW M series and many other coupés offered by various manufacturers.

The Porsche Cayenne Coupé comes with two variants namely, Cayenne Coupé and Cayenne Turbo Coupé. The Cayenne Coupe priced at ₹1.31 crores is powered by a 3.0-Litre turbocharged petrol V6 engine that delivers a power of 340hp and a torque of 450Nm.

The Cayenne Turbo Coupé has been priced at  ₹1.97 crores. It is powered by a 4.0-Litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out a power of 550hp and a torque of 770Nm. The interior supports a customary dashboard layout which can be seen in Porsche Cayenne. It has an extensive 12.3-inch touchscreen, feather-touch buttons for the air conditioner and the audio controls, and the characteristic Porsche 3-spoked steering wheel. The interior gets a whole-black theme with Alcantra roofline and a panoramic glass roof giving it an ultra-premium look.

The Cayenne Coupé is 43mm shorter than the standard Cayenne, thanks to the sloping roofline. But the Coupé version is 18mm wider at the rear. The rear seat has been lowered to make more headroom. The boot space has also been cut as the standard Cayenne has a 745 litres capacity whereas the Cayenne Coupé comes with a 598 litres capacity. 

The Porsche Cayenne Coupé comes equipped with features like auto LED headlamps, four-zone climate control, cruise control, leather upholstery, 18-way adjustable front seats, a rear camera and front and rear parking sensors.

The Porsche Cayenne Coupé has got 8 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, brake assist, ABS with EBD, traction control system, electronic stability control, hill-start and descent assist as a part of its standard safety kit which makes the car a reliable machine to drive.

The standard Cayenne V6 has been priced around ₹1.19 crores while the Cayenne Turbo is priced at ₹1.92 crores making the Coupé versions nearly 12 lacs and 5 lacs costlier respectively.
