These days sunroof has become a key selling point across various segments and with that said French carmaker Renault along with its Japanese counterpart Nissan has decided to equip both their upcoming Compact SUVs the Renault HBC and the Nissan Magnite with a sporty sunroof.
The Renault HBC or soon to known as the Kiger compact SUV and the Nissan Magnite will turn out to be the affordable cars with a Sunroof in the compact SUV segment. As of now, the most budget-oriented car which supports a sunroof is the Honda WR-V.
Surprisingly there are no other models available in India to support a sunroof from both Renault and Nissan.

Both the Renault HBC and the Nissan Magnite are likely to be built on the same CMF-A+ platform-mat which also underpins the Renault Triber.
Both the compact SUVs are also likely to feature automatic climate control and steering-mounted audio controls which the Triber seem to have missed out on.
The HBC and the Magnite are also likely to share the same power specifications and that is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine capable of generating 95hp with 150 Nm of peak torque.
The engine will come paired to either a 5-speed manual and an AMT automatic transmission.
