Renault Now Exporting Triber From India! 600 Units Exported Till Date

Renault has finally started exporting the Triber from India. The first batch of the export units is already on its way! The carmaker exported a total of 600 Tribers from India to South Africa. FYI, this sub-4 metre MUV has turned out to be a great product for Renault in the Indian market. Renault’s sales grew by 77 per cent in November 2019 as compared to November 2018 i.e. the same month last year!

Whoa! Renault India Sells Over 10,000 Triber In Two Months

Renault Triber was launched in Indian in August 2019 and the company claims that they have already sold over 20,000 units of this car all over the country! Also, the response to this car has been really great over the period of use. As the export has kicked off, Renault will require to produce more units of the Triber as the demand will rise. Let’s see how Renault deals with the supply chain!

Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations, told the media that they plan to continue the growth momentum and export the units of the Renault Triber to South Africa and other regions of SAARC along with growing the Triber family in India!

The Renault Triber comes with a 1-litre petrol engine which churns out 71 bhp and 96 Nm. This is the first sub-4 metre 7-seater MPV from the manufacturer based on a modified version of the CMF-A platform. Talking about the features, the Triber comes equipped with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, functional roof rails, electric roof rails and more! The infotainment supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The rear AC vents are also there along with a first-of-its-kind third row called the EasyFix.

Indians have finally started looking for safety aspects in the car and the Triber comes equipped with a load limiter and pretensioner (driver only), seatbelt reminder, high-speed alert, dual front airbags and pedestrian protection as well! Triber is, therefore, a feature-packed sub-4-metre MUV we must say!
