This morning, came another blow to the Indian film industry when Rishi Kapoor passed away inside the HN Reliance Hospital, Mumbai. Rishi Kapoor was associated with many iconic cars and bikes. We have lost two superstars within 24 hours which makes this news even worse! Sad but true. We have lost the actor who charmed millions with movies like Bobby and Chandni. Bobby – Rajdoot 175 GTS “Bobby Bike”
The Rajdoot GTS was a mini version of the already famous Rajdoot. The GTS gained cult status when Rishi Kapoor was seen riding this bike in “Bobby”. This was the first movie where Rishi Kapoor was seen in a lead role. Raja made this bike gain huge popularity and this bike was also popularly known by this movie’s name after the movie was a huge success. There is no wrong in saying that this one is the Rishi Kapoor Rajdoot or the Rishi Kapoor Bike. He also won the Filmfare trophy for the best actor for the character he played in this movie. This bike was displayed in the Auto Expo 2016 with various other iconic Bollywood vehicles.

Raaja – The 1960 Chevrolet Impala
Another successful movie by the superstar! Raaja was released in 1975 with Rishi Kapoor playing the role of Raaja aka Inspector Ram. Rishi Kapoor did an exceptional job in this one as well. We spotted an iconic ride in this one too. The 1960 Chevrolet Impala was seen in the movie when Raaja hid in the boot of the car to follow some goons with Sulakshana Pandit who was playing the role of Rani. Needless to say, Rishi Kapoor did an exceptional job and therefore this one will also be remembered in the list of Rishi Kapoor cars and bikes!
Amar Akbar Anthony – Ford Model A
Rishi Kapoor played the role of Akbar in this iconic trio movie! Amar Akbar Anthony is still over by the audience because of the quality of skills that all the stars in this movie displayed on the screen. This movie focused on a story of 3 brothers who got separated in their childhoods and were adopted by families with different faiths. This movie delivered a great message to the audience but there was something for us, the car lovers too! Sir Rishi Kapoor was seen driving the Ford Model A in this movie. The iconic vintage car was a successor to the Ford Model-T which was also equally iconic! Indians now remember the Model-A among the Rishi Kapoor cars too!
Do Dooni Chaar – Bajaj Chetak 150 & Maruti Suzuki Alto
This movie was the return of the Kapoor pair on the screen. This one had Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the lead roles and the plot revolved around a middle-class school teacher who dreamt about buying a car. Rishi Kapoor absolutely nailed the character of Santosh Duggal with his great acting skills. In this movie, Santosh Duggal was always seen riding a Bajaj Chetak 150. Real Life Possession – Mercedes GLS
Needless to say, in his real-life too, Rishi Kapoor owned multiple luxury cars. Here, in the above picture, you can see a Mercedes GLS. Rishi Kapoor bought this one in 2017. There is a curious mystery about the registration numbers of all the cars in the Kapoor family. All the cars have a registration number with digits having a total of 8. Today, we lost a superstar, a true gem of the Indian film industry. Rishi Kapoor was suffering from Cancer due to which he passed away today at the age of 67. He fought a long battle but ended his journey today morning. He received the best actor award for Bobby and also got the same critic award for Do Dooni Chaar! Great isn’t it? He will be missed for sure but his memories will keep him alive in our hearts! His movies are a superhit and so are all the Rishi Kapoor cars and bikes! May his soul rest in peace.
