Czech auto major Skoda has finally confirmed that they will be launching the much-awaited 5-seater Karoq in April 2020. All the interested buyers will be able to book the SUV at a token amount of 50,000 across all authorized dealerships and the official Skoda Auto India’s official website. However, deliveries for the Karoq will commence from May 6, 2020, but with the on-going Coronavirus pandemic, this seems to be a difficult task.

Skoda Karoq | Engine Specifications
- The all-new Karoq will get its power from a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine capable of generating 148hp with 250Nm of torque and will come paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
- We can also expect the same engine to power the upcoming Skoda Vision IN and the Volkswagen Taigun.
Dimensions
- The all-new 5-seater SUV will be based on the newly developed MQB platform, which also underpins the likes of the Kodiaq, Superb and the Octavia sedan.
- Coming to the proportions the Koraq will be 4,382mm in length, 1,814mm in width and 1,605mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,638mm.
- The new 5-seater SUV will also hold a ground clearance of 200mm with a massive boot space of 521-litres, which can be extended to almost 1,810-litres by folding the rear seats completely.
